The Marc O'Polo Partnership Model offers its partners the use of an EDI system (Electronic Data Interchange).
EDI is based upon the exchange of commercial data (i.e. bills, delivery notes, order confirmations etc.) and means that the franchise is managed as a virtual shop and receives intensive guidance.
The system has been in place for a number of years, and led last year to a 50% increase in like-for-like sales for some of our partners.
Thanks to the reduced need for administrative input and the use of quicker logistics, internal and external trading processes can be improved and costs and workload reduced, thus ensuring the business’s long-term competitive advantage.
