Company policy

Marc O'Polo is conscious of its sociopolitical responsibility.

In 2009, Werner Böck, chairman and majority holder of the Marc O'Polo AG, established the Marc O'Polo foundation. By doing so, he laid the foundation stone for further commitment in the field of cultural promotion and social projects. Presently, the Marc O'Polo foundation initiates a “nature & reflection” sculpture route to be opened in late April 2010 on the occasion of the Landesgartenschau (regional garden and flower festival) in Rosenheim which is provided to the inhabitants and tourists of the city of Rosenheim.

Since several years, Marc O'Polo has promoted SOS Kinderdorf e.V. by means of the artistic Advent calendar.
“For me, fashion, art, design and architecture are closely connected and necessary for mutual inspiration.
I think, it’s a great idea to interweave fashion and art with social commitment,” says Werner Böck.

Promoted by Marc O'Polo, the Marc O'Polo trainees organize a yearly project on personal responsibility which supports the contact and exchange between company staff and handicapped children from a support center and a special school.

Apart from various training focuses, Marc O'Polo cooperates with educational institutions with the aim to offer young adults the possibility to gain practical experiences in addition to scientific subjects.
