FROM FAMILY TO FAMILY

In Istanbul’s Küçükçekmece/Halkalı district, SAVE Tekstil is based – a family-owned company that has been manufacturing clothing since 1994. Over the years, SAVE Tekstil has continued to develop its product range and add new product categories.
In 2014, SAVE Tekstil expanded its production to include jersey garments. Today, the company produces jersey garments for selected Marc O’Polo collections.
According to its own information, SAVE Tekstil records and evaluates the site’s environmental performance annually using the Higg Facility Environmental Module (Higg FEM). The standardised assessment tool considers energy and water use, waste, wastewater, air emissions and chemical management, among other areas. The results can help identify areas for action and plan further measures.
