OUTERWEAR EXPERTISE FROM VIETNAM
Viet Vuong, based in Ho Chi Minh City, has been producing clothing for international brands for many years, including for Marc O’Polo. The company was founded in 1999 and, according to its own information, produces more than four million garments per year at three sites (as of 2025).
For Marc O’Polo, production takes place at two sites, mainly at the Viet Vuong 3 facility in Vinh Long. Established in 2019, the facility is located on a site of more than 93,000 square metres and employs around 1,700 people, according to company information (as of 2025).
Puffer jackets and coats for Marc O’Polo are produced here, among other items. The facility also focuses on outdoor clothing as well as performance and softshell products. Processes used include laser cutting, welding and seamless processing.
According to its own information, Viet Vuong records and evaluates the site’s environmental performance annually using the Higg Facility Environmental Module (Higg FEM). The standardised assessment tool considers energy and water use, waste, wastewater, air emissions and chemical management, among other areas. The results can help identify areas for action and plan further measures.
