In Chittoor, South India, Vishwaa Apparels is a production site with a remarkable story. Founded in 2008 by a first-generation female entrepreneur, the company was built not on easy paths, but through determination, courage, and clear values. Establishing their own model factory in 2019 marked a significant milestone.

Today, Vishwaa produces around 1.14 million garments per year, including women’s and men’s fashion for Marc O’Polo. Fifty percent of the production lines are led by women – an achievement recognized by the Indian Ministry of Textiles. Vishwaa has implemented measures for more sustainable chemical and wastewater management in line with the ZDHC Roadmap to Zero program (see Detox.Live) and measures its environmental and resource impact annually using the Higg Facility Environmental Module (Higg FEM).
