OUR PATH TO RESPONSIBLY MANUFACTURED PRODUCTS

We are increasingly using preferred fibres that have less impact on people, animals, nature, and the climate compared to their conventional counterparts. These range from organic and/or recycled fibres to fibres with an improved procurement process. Additionally, we strive to employ enhanced production processes or complete manufacturing within Europe, as well as material innovations and designs developed for the circular economy, wherever possible.

ENTIRELY MADE IN EUROPE

For a Marc O'Polo product labeled 'Entirely Made in Europe', all production steps - from raw material sourcing to final finishing - have taken place in European countries. This label often stands for careful and more environmentally friendly processing and supports the local economy. Shorter transport distances can reduce the ecological footprint.

MASTERS OF LINEN®

As Masters of Linen® certified linen is produced from European Flax® fibers, which are naturally more environmentally friendly than, for example, conventional cotton. European Flax® is grown in Western Europe without artificial irrigation*, free of genetically modified seeds (GMO), and with a responsible approach to the use of fertilizers and pesticides. Masters of Linen® guarantees that every step, from field to fabric, is carried out by European companies. Marc O'Polo goes even further and ensures that the entire value chain takes place in Europe – from field to finished garment.
