TEXTILE PRODUCTION WITH A PLAN

In southern India, one of Aditya Birla Fashion & Retail Limited (ABFRL)’s production facilities is located in Bengaluru. ABFRL is part of the Aditya Birla Group and operates in the Indian fashion sector with various brands and retail formats.
For Marc O’Polo, this site mainly produces articles made from woven fabrics in different qualities and styles. The site also has a rainwater harvesting system with a capacity of 300,000 litres. Aditya Birla is also involved in the ZDHC Roadmap to Zero Programme as a ZDHC Signatory Supplier. The programme provides guidelines and tools for safer chemical management in the textile and apparel industry, including the handling of chemicals as well as wastewater, sludge and air emissions.
