TENCEL™ Lyocell and Modal fibers are industrially produced regenerated cellulose fibers made from wood pulp from certified sustainable forestry. TENCEL™ Lyocell is produced in a closed production cycle - a particularly resource-saving process in which water and solvents are almost completely recovered and reused. Both fibre types are characterized by exceptional softness, high breathability and natural suppleness - for a pleasantly dry skin feel.

The production of TENCEL™ Lyocell and Modal fibers is based on strictly tested, certified processes. The wood pulp used is extracted from trees that come from sustainably managed forests. These are controlled and certified by the Forest Stewardship Council® (FSC®), among others. Production takes place in an environmentally friendly process with up to 50% less CO₂ emissions and water consumption compared to conventional lyocell and modal fibres* The fibres are certified according to recognized environmental standards such as the EU Ecolabel** and contribute to the responsible use of natural resources.
