Care guide for suede
Remove the laces and gently brush off dust with a crepe or nubuck brush before care. Always brush in one direction and test any new products on a discreet area first.
Clean the leather dry with a soft brush and treat stains with a suede eraser. For heavier dirt, use a slightly damp sponge and carefully clean without soaking the material.
After cleaning, stuff with paper or use cedar shoe trees and allow to dry slowly in the air. Avoid direct heat or sunlight, then gently brush to restore the texture.
If needed, refresh the colour with spray or special suede dye. Apply thin, even layers from a short distance and lightly brush once dry to keep the surface soft.
Apply a breathable waterproofing spray in several light coats to protect against moisture and dirt. Allow each layer to dry briefly before applying the next.
Store in a dry, airy and dust-free place, ideally with cedar shoe trees. Regular brushing maintains the soft surface and helps the shoes keep their shape.
